Since we first opened our authentic, replica Newfoundland Cottages on July 11, 2004 we have greeted guests from around the globe.
Our international guests come from as far away as Korea, Japan, Germany, South Africa, Israel, the Netherlands, Hong Kong, Australia, Indonesia, Norway, China, England, Ireland, Scotland, Afghanistan, Barbados, Iceland and Greenland.
Closer to home, we’ve welcomed guests from many parts of the United States especially New York City, NY, California, New Jersey, Arizona etc…as well as fellow Canadians from virtually every province including Nunavut, Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Ontario and especially our home province Newfoundland and Labrador where neighbors from St. John’s to Corner Brook to Mary’s Town (and all points in between) have come to relax and enjoy our Luxury Oceanfront Cottages.
Elizabeth J. Cottages is a place where you can get away from it all, take a deep breath of clear, clean salt water air, observe the playful Newfoundland Whales, the Icebergs or the billions of stars at night and address your own needs for a change.
In designing and decorating my oceanfront Newfoundland cottages, I wanted to create a vacation home of exceptional warmth; a place that “far exceeds our clients expectations”. Elizabeth J. Cottages “sit with an absolute oceanfront setting…off the beaten track at the edge of town” in a rare location that elicits from our guests a reaction of “utter joy and awe”.
We are very thankful that our guests have chosen to record their thoughts about their stay at our Newfoundland cottages, which we collected in a series of four legacy books. Some clients, in addition to writing in our legacy books, leave a personal letter writing more personal feelings of their stay or about meeting us. We keep every word.
