A passport if you have one and 2 pieces of identification such as Driver’s License and another government document.

One should bring layered clothing since Newfoundland experiences 4 seasons in one day.

The following are suggestions of what to wear and bring while in Newfoundland:

• Nice warm wind/rain Jacket with hood
• A fleece
• light long sleeve top
• short sleeve top
• running shoes
• hiking boots
• sandals
• socks for boots and running shoes
• hat and mitts if coming in May or June
• scarves
• warm pants – jeans, casual slacks, shorts
• sunscreen
• hat to protect you from the sun
• sunglasses
• Umbrella although the wind gets quite strong and will blow it away
• swimsuit ( yes it gets quite warm and one can swim in the ocean – just hold your breathe and go for it!)
• Something for evening wear – casual though
